Tri-Star Tactical Gear is a division of Tri-Star Public Safety Outfitters & Tactical.
Tri-Star is an East Tennessee based purveyor of quality Law Enforcement, Tactical Gear, Fire, Public Safety Equipment.
Tri-Star was founded in October of 2012 with $500.00 in merchandise in a corner of an office.
A simple website and firm belief that there was a better way to provide gear and equipment at competitive pricing and stellar service that was lacking in the Greater East Tennessee & Blount County Area.
It was a concept that was well received and rapidly grew by the fall of 2015 we were shipping and processing 30,000 online orders a year. We had outgrown our original facility and determined that the time and the market were right to bring us from exclusively an on-line retailer to a brick and mortar retail store.

In November of 2019 our retail store relocated from Alcoa three miles to a freestanding building on US321/ Lamar Alexander Parkway in Maryville.
First Quarter of 2021 Engineering & Design work is proceeding on a plan to more than triple the current square footage of our retail location.
